Free Companion App

Record every call.
Not just some.

CallRecap Connect is a free companion that works alongside CallRecap to capture all your calls — including WhatsApp, Telegram, and other apps — automatically and in the background.

Why do I need Connect?

Modern Android has strict security rules. Connect unlocks CallRecap's full potential.

WhatsApp, Telegram & more

VoIP apps handle audio differently than regular phone calls. Connect captures audio from these apps seamlessly — so every important conversation gets its summary, action items, and reminders.

Better call recording quality

Android limits what regular apps can record during phone calls. Connect uses a special permission to capture clearer audio with both sides of the conversation.

Fully automatic

Once set up, Connect runs silently in the background. You never need to open it or do anything — just make and receive calls like you always do.

Lightweight & battery-friendly

Connect uses almost no battery or storage. It only activates for a moment when a call starts and goes back to sleep instantly when it ends.

Set up in 2 minutes

Quick, one-time setup. After this, everything is automatic.

1

Download CallRecap Connect

Tap the download button below. Your browser will download a small file (under 10 MB). Open it to install.

2

Allow installation

Your phone may ask you to allow installing apps from your browser. This is a standard Android setting — tap Allow and proceed.

3

Grant permissions

When Connect opens, it will ask for microphone and phone permissions. These are needed to detect and record calls. Tap Allow for each one.

4

Enable the Accessibility Service

This is the key step. Connect needs this permission to detect when calls start in any app (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) and capture the audio. Follow the on-screen guide to enable it in your phone's settings.

5

You're done!

Go back to CallRecap. You'll see a green checkmark in Settings confirming Connect is active. From now on, every call is automatically recorded, transcribed, and analyzed.
